English Langauge Summer Camp with Horseback Riding
CEAD-Ireland offers the unique experience of learning the English Language while on horseback in a top class Equestrian Centre!
Accredited and experienced teachers and staff encourage students to have fun and improve their spoken English throughout their stay. We believe total immersion in the English language is the most rewarding and also the quickest way to improve. Classes are used to improve both written technique and oral fluency. Grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure are key elements of this class.
Learning English should be more than just doing English lessons. Learning English can also mean having fun. On the Equestrian and English Language camp you still receive the full immersion experience of living with and being taught by your teacher. You will be totally isolated from your own language. Students practice English as much as they like with friendly Irish students and staff.
"I want to thank you for taking care of my daughter and for the professionalism shown in these two weeks. Lena has come back very happy and with much improved language skills. See you again the next year" - David Los Dios Diaz, Summer Camp 2012
English is the main spoken language at camp and is strictly enforced throughout the day so no parent has ever been unsatisfied with their teenager’s improvement of conversational English after camp!
This camp runs in week long blocks starting on Sunday evening and ending on the following Sunday at 12 noon. This week long course costs €850 per week. We can arrange for transport to and from the airport, please ask for information!
We ask that all campers arrive early Monday morning or on Sunday evening. This allows campers time to settle in and unpack before starting their summer camp on Monday morning.
One to one tutorials can be arranged. Specialist English as a foreign language teachers will be available to help at all times.
Equestrian Academy offers all its training in English as well so that the students can practise what they have learnt in the language classes. All levels of horse riding experience is catered for in this camp from novice to advanced equestrians! Afternoons will be spent learning about horses, developing horse riding skills and exploring the country side on horseback.
Small select English Language classes are given every morning by a professional teacher. The typical student mix is an equal number of Spanish, Brazilian, French, Italian and German with a few other nationalities thrown into the mix. This diverse camp has attracted students from all corners of the world including the Middle East, Asia, South America, Russia and Mexico.
In the evenings, all nationalities and campers get together for meals and fun activities. Most develop lasting friendships and a better understanding of different cultures as well as having a brilliant time!
